So New Year. Yay. Picked up a gray suit from Brooks Brothers. They had a pretty nice sale going on, and with some addititonal deals managed to save 33% on a suit, 4 shirts, and 2 ties. So yay, I now have a suit again. About 12 years after the last time I bought a suit. I'm still curious about the custom clothing place over on Broadway, Zeglio. Might try them anyway or maybe Indochino (online custom clothier), for a more formal black one. But when I was getting fitted for a suit, damn, it felt good. Clothes that actually fit will do that. Also tried on the slim cut dress shirts? Same deal. Felt good. Felt better. Maybe it's time to get better fitting clothes again. Headed to visit Al, Nicole, Luke and my parents for a week. We're going to be Luke's godparents. Looking forward to seeing Luke for the first time. Also looking forward to hopefully a nice relaxing week. Hopefully I won't do too much work there. Also realized if I had thought about it, that I could have had my bike shipped down there and gone on some rides. Would have been interesting with actual hills. Maybe next time. Just remember that I need to cut down on spending again for the first half of the year, as I max out my 401k. And now there's a HSA I need to fill out as well. Switched over to using an Apple Keyboard/Magic Trackpad at work. So no actual Mac, but Mac accessories. I did commute by bike earlier this week. First time wearing a facemask. Pretty warm when I did. Glasses fog up though. When I'm going there's good circulation, but at stops I start to fog up. Didn't ride today because I didn't want to roll up the suit and try to get it home on the bike.

Really good trip to see Luke and Al and Nicole and the parents outside Austin last week. Nice and relaxing. Great to hang out with family, and to finally see Luke, my new godson. Apparently he just started getting less fussy when we showed up. So either great timing, or Tracy and I and Lucy are just that good of an influence. Weather wasn't all that great for the first couple of days, but warmed up towards the end. Watched a bunch of movies after Lucy went to bed. Went to a couple playgrounds, ate a lot, took a train ride on the Zilker Zephyr, took Lucy to an inflatable playground at the mall, took a golf cart ride. Pretty much perfect. Not sure when I could have ridden if I did bring a bike. Lucy had her own seat on the flights, since she's old enough, and was great travelling. She even got a little toy airplane on the trip back. Got to use the Withings Baby Monitor when Lucy was sleeping in Luke's crib. I think it's really awesome, at least when Lucy lets us leave it open. Busy first couple days back at work. We keep hiring people, and we're running out of space. Also, my desk was filled with packages I received. That was crazy. Also, riding again to work. Hard after taking a week off. And cold. I think I figured out how to put the facemask on and not fog up my glasses.

Started Potty Training Lucy this past weekend. Going with the pantless method. And of course stickers and treats. But she did really well on Saturday. Impressively well we thought. Pooped in the potty twice. Thought that was amazing. And yes, I'm talking about kids pooping. A couple of accidents. But much better than I thought it'd be. I thought she'd be peeing all over the place, marking her territory. I thought we'd have to put down a tarp, or roll up the carpet. We do have a towel on the couch, but she only had an accident there once. But Saturday? She was going and sitting all by herself, no prompting. We thought she was a potty savant. Then Sunday. And not so much. Almost all prompting. Pooped in her underwear. But Tracy's with her today and apparently she's doing better. But expecting lots of accidents, lots of pants at school. We'll see. Really cold today. Bundled up on the bike ride in. Finally used the goggles that I got from Auntie Luz years and years ago. But they're falling apart. But didn't have a single piece of skin exposed on the ride in. Was actually sweating this morning. We'll see on the way home though. I'm completely off individual rss, and just using Fever Hot lists. And individual websites. Only Twitter I check is Bill Simmons, occasionally. Facebook still. But otherwise, I'm no longer on the cutting edge of online news. Which I think just puts me 6-12 hours behind that edge.

Trying to be more organized again. Which means trying to use GTD and OmniFocus again. Trying to keep up with the systems in place to keep me in my place. Hopefully, with less distractions from internet reading sources, I can be more productive. A new twist? Trying to be more single tasked. Cutting down on the multitasking. Trying to stop things from leaking through the cracks. We'll see. In potty training news with Lucy, she's doing well. Really the only problem is #2. Hasn't had a successful dump at school yet. Always an accident. Only a few successful times at home too. Otherwise, she's doing really well. Impressed. Weather's crazy. Overdressed for the ride to work yesterday and this morning. No idea how to dress, and always thinking I needed to bring extra gear just in case. In the pouring rain on the way home today just added arm warmers to pants, jersey, and vest. It was enough. Special thanks to Russell for the Boston Cycling Cap. Came in handy today. Looking forward to warmer weather, and stripping down the Pacer for some longer rides up north. Currently reading Masalai, Ryan Case's novel he finally self published. Pretty good so far.

36th birthday came and went. Nothing special. Just another day. Just how I like them. Potty training going pretty well with Lucy. Accidents seem to be lessening. Finally finished up Masalai yesterday. Will have to review it for Ryan. Decided to start Divergent, mostly because Tracy went to an extras casting call at her boxing gym last night. And it's set in Chicago. And the movie is being filmed in Chicago. Did a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt marathon, sort of, just 2 movies spread out over a week or so. Premium Rush which makes me want a fixie. And Looper, which was really good, and makes me want to watch Brick. And I didn't realize the writer/director, Rian Johnson, also did The Brothers Bloom, which I should watch next. Good stuff from that guy. Busy at work as usual. With all the laptop shuffling that's been going on, I find myself on a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Late 2011. No Hi-Res screen, but it's not too shabby. Feels enormous though. And only running Lion. I'm trying out the Office 2011 as well, and figured out how to use Tunnelblick for VPN access to work. Started using Jump Desktop for Mac for RDP. I also have the Navicat Essentials for SQL Server installed, but haven't really started using it. Curious to see if it'd be ok for use. But no Parallels, no Windows 7. Curious to see how it does. Been sorta sick, caught whatever it was that Tracy had, with the sinus headaches. But that's on the way out, I think. Took a couple days off from riding, and one week didn't ride at all. After the week off I did have my fastest ride in a while. That was cool. Switched back to using the carbon fiber insoles, figure I can try putting athletic tape to add some grip to them. Also ordered up some neoprene toe warmers. Curious to see if they'll keep my toes warm. While taking the El, been using my leg warmers. Want to switch over to some Smartwool ones, to match my arm warmers.

Tracy might be a featured extra on Divergent filming in Chicago. If so, would be pretty cool. Screws up work scheduling, and who knows what it'll mean for pickup/dropoff timing, but she might actually be visible in a movie. That'd be cool. Just one of those things to do, if she gets picked. At least I think so. And her coworkers too. Started reading Jennifer Government. And saw that some MillarWorld comics are finally available through Comixology. So got Nemesis (comics), Kick-Ass 2 and Hit-Girl. So that's cool. Had to pick up Lucy early last week because of some giant snowstorm where they closed the school early. So Lucy and I got to play in the snow, which was pretty much gone by the next day. And today they're closing it early again, but this time Tracy's gonna go pick her up. Was going to go to the Donut Vault, since I had to get off at Merchandise Mart with the Wells Street Bridge construction, but didn't realize it was cash only. Maybe tomorrow. Otherwise, it's March. Try to get my bike commuting when I can, but this late winter/early spring snowfalls are making it difficult. My left knee's been feeling a little funky walking/stair climbing. Feels great on the bike. Got a whole list of computer/hard drive upgrades to try and rationalize purchasing. Also tried out Outlook 2013 and SQL Server Management Studio 2012. Both of which look kind of awful on Windows 7, which made me think about getting Windows 8, but to tide me over I just reverted back to a Parallels VM with Outlook 2010 and SQL Server Management Studio 2008 R2. Really wish I could get, or make my own copy, of Management Studio for Mac OS X. Maybe someday.

So first off, Veronica Mars Kickstarter. Announced this morning. $2 million goal. 10 hours later. Met. So impressive. Seriously. Fan funded, well, kickstarted anyway. And there's 30 days left. What if it's fully fan funded at the end of 30 days? How much would it take to full fund the movie anyway? Crazy. Possibly game changing. But we'll see. Looking forward to it anyway. Next up: new pope. Not much to say there. And finally, Google Reader is getting sent to a farm upstate in July. Guess me hopping off that train was prescient. Surprised at how little Fever is getting brought up as a possible self hosted replacement. So besides the news, not much else to report. Don't have a MacBook Pro to play with at work anymore. Having some issues with my Brydge+, so getting it replaced under warranty. Got some more clothes from swrve, so I can actually have a pants rotation to go with my jersey rotation. Might be time to actually wash the bike clothes. Definitely has some maintenance to do on the Pacer. Need to true my rear wheel, but the Revolights makes it difficult. But after the time change I might be able to just remove the revolights. Didn't really need them when it's still light out biking home today at 6:15pm.
11:55 PM Thursday, March 21, 2013
Tracy got her official acceptance letter into the Dauntless Born Initiate class. So yes, she's going to be in a movie. It's awesome. Now have to start figuring out logistics for it. 20 days over a 3 month period with sometimes a 1 day notice. But still, she might get some serious screen time. Hopefully. Otherwise, been biking to work. It's been cold. Went looking for SmartWool leg warmers on my way home yesterday, but no joy. Lucy stayed home sick yesterday, but better today. Caught it at Sammi's birthday party over the weekend at Kid City. All the other kids that were there also got sick this week. But that was fun on Saturday. Met some of the parents. Sunday went over to Mike and Amy's to hang with Caden and Connor, and ostensibly for dying Easter eggs, but that only lasted about 5 minutes for Lucy. She just like playing with all of Caden and Connor's toys. Then dinner at Vapiano again, right before some Jewish school production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat showed up and made the lines super long.
6:30 AM Thursday, April 4, 2013
Tracy had some stunt training today, and some more tomorrow. My parents were nice enough to pick Lucy up today, and tomorrow, or yesterday and today, so I didn't have to leave early. Which is good. Tracy has actual filming on Monday and Tuesday, which means I'll have to drop Lucy off and pick her up most likely. Yikes. Had a personal day on Tuesday since I wanted to get Lucy a same day appointment to get her finger checked out. Ended up getting one at 3:45pm, which means she probably could have gone to school and I could have gone to work and just taken a half day for both of us. But no idea when the sick appointments are available at Town & Country. But it was kind of nice to have a pseudo day off. And all Lucy needed was a little topical antibiotics. Already looks like it's getting better. Potty training's been going ok. Been trying out Everpix for photo management. Basically trying to take the hassle out of picking good photos. It supposedly will pick the good ones for you. So I'm trying to take more, and after automatic uploading, just browsing. It's nice. Although trying to get photos out and into Flickr or Photo Streams isn't super easy. So still need to figure out a method for that. Got the Pacer all tuned up. The rear wheel needed some serious truing. And I just made it worse when I tried it at home. But Roscoe Village Bikes cleaned it up nice. And I finally made a stabilizer for the front dual headlamps.
4:26 PM Monday, May 20, 2013
Days go by, or in this case, weeks, and a month, since the last update. So what's new? Working. Hanging with the family. Bike Commuting. Got more bike related apparel. Got a Walz Cycling Cap, as recommended by Russell. Love it. Kind of not following the Rule #22 because I like it so much. Wanting to get more. Do eventually have to get some cycling shoes that fit better. Finally put toe clips and straps on the Xtracycle. Also prepped it for Bike the Drive this Sunday. Hoping Tracy isn't filming so she can come with, otherwise it's me and Lucy crusing the Lake Shore. And if she isn't filming, might try and get out on the Pacer and do a loop in the early morning before heading out afterwards with the family. We'll see. Oh, and not writing anything about Tracy being an extra anymore. Or will just save up those posts for after filming is done, or after the movie comes out. Weather's warming up, makes me miss the cooler/colder stuff. Glad the building at work finally put in the other bike rack after taking a bunch out to put in giant planters. Lucy's moving on up to a preschool room, still at Parkview Montessori. She starts in June. Still not completely potty trained, but getting there. Oh, she did have a 3rd birthday party out at my parents, and a couple weeks ago had her crib converted to a toddler bed. And slowly working on getting her self sufficient at night, for switching out blankets, getting herself water. Been doing a little exercising when I get in to work after my bike commute, just some pushups and crunches. Something's better than nothing.
5:26 PM Thursday, May 30, 2013
Did Bike the Drive solo this year. Lucy went out to Woodstock to hang out with her grandparents last Thursday to Sunday. Tracy and I got a couple dinners in, almost the entire season 8 of How I Met Your Mother in as well. But we missed the little one. Anyway, back to Bike the Drive. I did 2 loops this year on the Pacer, 60 miles, 3:30. Not quite as fast as I thought. And shows I've got a long way to go before the North Shore Century this fall. Need to get some training rides in. But after the fact realized I might have my saddle placement wrong, so increased the height and moved it forward a bit, and I think makes a big difference. Probably would have been huge for last Sunday. Oh well, maybe next year. Yesterday finally got Lucy a new bike helmet, one that actually fits, and isn't stuffed with pads to get it to stay on her head. Still looks enormous on her head though. Getting warm out. Turned the A/C back on at home. Have I mentioned that I'm addicted to Dots on iOS? Tracy's only got a couple more days of filming left, so that's good.
5:22 PM Monday, June 3, 2013
Another milestone. 10 years at Market Track. Crazy. Rare these days. Happy I made it. Curious how long I'll make it. Went out to Woodstock so Lucy could spend some more time with her grandparents before they leave to take care of her cousin Luke. Fairly relaxing. Always a shock at how slow the internet is out there. And I guess how spoiled I am, with my 20 down, and 5 up. And I wonder how big the shock might be for someone with Google Fiber, to go to something like Comcast. Crazy. Lucy switched rooms today, now in preschool, same actual school. She seemed ok with the transition this morning. Curious to find out how she did today though. New teachers, new classmates, new room, new toys and games and books. Actually finished up a book, The Windup Girl. Starting the Wool Series based on Lisa's recommendation. Been trying out a bunch of different RSS feed aggregators. I screwed up my own Fever install, so that's not working. Something about my hacked Apple TV's isn't right, and I kind of don't want to bother with them anymore. Wondering if I should move it to the spare Mac mini instead. But trying Newblur and FeedWrangler. But I have a feeling whenever Reeder gets updated on Mac/iPad, I'll switch to Feedbin unless Reeder will support other services as well. Would be nice to see an aggregator of aggregators, and include Twitter and App.net links, and Pinboard unread items too. Also, going to try and learn some PowerShell.
9:19 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2013
Switched the Apple TV (1st Generation)s from jailbroken+XAMPP to just straight up Debian installs. Much much better. Maybe a little slower, and I'll have to look into it, but things just work better now. Not to mention auto updating security patches. Been a long time since I've used Debian. Interesting. Even had to start up mutt. Ha. Currently the websites are running on the backup machine, and I'll move things over to the production machine and try and update things, like Mediawiki and Storytlr. So Lucy's website is working again, except of course for Twitter. But maybe we'll start posting Flickr photos again. Got my Fever install back up and running, and back to using Sunstroke instead of Feed Wrangler. But still just going to wait until Reeder gets updated across the board. Oh, watched WWDC 2013 yesterday via live stream. Impressive quality. Looking forward to upgrading this fall both OSes. The new Mac Pro is quite pretty. Guessing I won't get a new iPhone until they get released with iOS 7. Wait and see.
5:53 PM Thursday, June 20, 2013
Getting restless with my iOS devices, so I think it's time to nuke and pave. Start fresh yet again. Also means no Jailbreak again, which means no f.lux. Oh well. Getting really tempted to write an iOS program, specifically a Fever client. I remember looking into it before, just the logistics, or setting up an LLC and all the costs and paperwork involved. And the iOS 7 developer reset state sounds like an opportunity. But I'd need to find the time. Lucy's good. Tracy's good. Biking's good. House needs work. Found out the 1st floor unit sold after 3 days on the market. So that might bode well. Plowed through the rest of Fringe that's available on Netflix anyway. Almost where I want to buy Season 5 instead of waiting until it shows up. Also got a Roku 3 for Amazon Prime Instant Video, specifically for Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go, since they're exclusive at Amazon now. Best thing about it? The headphone port on the remote. Plug in headphones, and can watch at night without disturbing anyone. Unplug, and everyone can hear.
4:18 PM Friday, July 19, 2013
Yeah, maybe, still writing. Finally announced to family and friends that Lucy's going to have a little brother in November. So during filming for Divergent, Tracy's been pregnant the whole time. She only recently (in the last couple of weeks) started really showing. So now it's really sinking in. Lucy went through a bout of diarrhea. That was fun. Of course, a week later, I got what she had. Also fun. Started getting really hot again. Someone finally asked me if my wool jerseys are too hot for biking. I really like them, and they don't smell, at least to me. It's awesome. Tighter is better though. Been working too much this week, as we're starting some overnight processing and entry, and needed to do some support. Hopefully getting it all ironed out so I can actually sleep next week. Really looking forward to some sleeping tonight though. Speaking of Divergent, Tracy took me as her +1 to the Cast and Crew Wrap Party. No one famous was there, besides Veronica Roth. Interesting seeing all the people she spent so much time with. And so much younger. Definitely too old for that party. Special thanks to my dad for watching Lucy that night. Oh, Gabe and Ella came into town last weekend for Connor's baptism. Lucy and Ella play pretty well together. Got to go to the beach and the pool. And of course Lucy got sick again, just another normal cold which I think she's over already. Chugging along.
4:28 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2013
Tried setting up my old Mac mini (Mid 2007) as a new TEAHouse Web Server but sounds like it's finally given up the ghost. Instead, I'll try setting up Debian on the Mac mini (Mid 2010) instead. These Apple TV (1st Generation)s don't seem to hold up too well, running only 256 MB of RAM and all. I just need to drop the old hardware finally. While digging through for an old Gefen DVI Detective used to run the Tiger only Mac mini headless, I found my old component HD switcher. Which I should also just toss. And some old coaxial I should just get rid of too. Cut and run. But figured out how to put Dropbox on Debian, which is super easy. So hopefully can get real backups running for websites. And then possibly make it really easy to move to the cloud, if needed. Which is also super tempting. But expensive. And will all that time on my hands. Need to bring the Pacer in for service. My rear derailluer cable broke this morning, in the hood. Should have figured something was going on, as I thought it was just normal cable stretching, and my shifting was erratic and off index. And I've still got something up with my front tire because I ran over a pothole a while back. Finally saw Zero Dark Thirty. Amazing. Couldn't stay awake for The Host when Tracy watched it the other night. Started usinig Plex on TEAHouse and the Roku 3. This way I can use the headphones from the remote and watch my movies late at night without worrying and keeping my thumb on the volume buttons. Quite nice.
11:39 AM Wednesday, August 21, 2013
Tracy got us a storage unit, and we took a first trip out last weekend to get it set up and start putting stuff away. I think she's nesting, but it's great. She's put away all the baby stuff that we won't need for a while, and some extra chairs, and things are just a lot more open at home. She's doing another trip today. We think we've got Lucy back to sleep trained. No more getting her in the middle of the night. And after the first night, she hasn't tried to leave either. So that's good. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm sleeping more, as I keep using the remote headphones on the Roku 3 to plow through movies. Got the Surly Pacer all fixed up. Nice and smooth braking again. Been over in Roscoe Village a couple times in the last week or so. Really nice. Current front runner for new neighborhood. Of course it isn't cheap. That's why I keep playing the lottery. Hard to believe it's almost September already. Crazy. Just found out Market Track Chicago Office is moving. Officially. Our sublease is up next year, but we sorta planned ahead and started looking sooner. But now I just heard today we'll be moving in 60-90 days. So sometime this year we'll be in the Sears Tower, or, I guess, Willis Tower. And we'll be colocating most of our servers, which I think will mean I'll almost never have to come in if the A/C fails.
2:26 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2013
So what got me to write? An Apple Event. Go figure. Bunch of software made free, MacBook Air and Pro updates, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display. Going to nuke and pave to install Mavericks on the iMac. And have to decide which iPad to get, or to wait for what I think will eventually come, an iPad Pro. Or, just keep trucking with my iPad with Retina Display. Other than that, been taking some time off from biking. I managed to fall off a couple of weeks ago, when I was going down the sidewalk avoiding traffic. And my legs have been more sore than not recently. And I got tired of changing my tubes after flats (something like 4 total). I got new tires, but just haven't gotten the time to put them on, and because it's staying darker later and getting darker earlier, I need to put my Revolights back on, and that takes time too. And it's colder, so I don't like working in the garage to do all this. So maybe I'll bring the wheels up and do it. Another reason I started taking the L again? So I can read. Finished up the Wool series with Shift and Dust. Pretty good read. Now, finally reading Steve Jobs biography. Been nice. Using a Kindle Paperwhite (2013 Edition). Very nice. Originally thought it was too heavy, but got used to it. And forgot to mention that we upgraded to iPhone 5Ss. I stayed with white and Tracy stayed with black. Didn't go to gold, because I wanted to color coordinate with a future iPad, which I don't think would ever go gold. Anyway, totally used to the taller screen (since I was coming from an iPhone 4S). All the others just like short and squat now. Finished up Fringe. Continuum Season 2 was made available on Netflix, so plowing through that. Tracy and baby #2 are coming along fine. And soon. Just about a month out now. Crazy.
7:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2013
So the government went after Apple and the publishers and stopped the agency pricing model. It's supposedly to help the consumer, to keep prices low. And it sort of worked. Allegiant came out this week or last week. $6.99 at Amazon. $6.99 at Apple iBookstore. But Amazon doesn't use ePubs, and I can't remove the DRM from iBooks. I got Divergent from the Sony eBookstore, but Allegiant goes for $11.76 there. But that's ePub, and Tracy uses a Sony PRS-T1 Reader, and we got Divergent from there originally. And then looking around, it's $13.99 at Feedbooks, $9.99 at Kobo. So how does that help the consumer? Imagine if each book of the series was cheapest in a different store. Which is entirely possible. Then, assuming I don't know how to strip DRM, that I would have to buy 3 different devices, in order to read the 3 books, that, thanks to the US Government, the individual stores could determine prices on. Instead of, say, the publisher had decided on the price, and all the stores sold it at the same price, and then they'd have to compete on device, or interoperability. Seems like they made it worse. So thanks for that. Now, if they took the next step and regulated the format of books, and that all readers had to be able to read books from any seller, then it would make sense to be able to sell the same book at whatever price they wanted. But there's device lock-in and DRM to worry about. So what am I going to do? Probably just eat the cost and buy from Sony because it's the cheapest Adobe DRM that I can easily strip so I can then put it on all the devices I own. I'm paying for the ability to commit a crime more easily. Ugh.
11:58 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013
Jackson Nathaniel Abando was born on Saturday, November 16, at 6:21am. The set is now complete. He's got a Flickr account, and a web site, because he is my kid. Healthy, 10 fingers, 10 toes. Tracy's doing great. Labor was maybe 8 hours total, got to the hospital around 1:30am, epidural around 3:30am. The hospital stay at Prentice was fabulous. This time took advantage of the location and got out and got food from local eateries, including dinner from Ditka's on Sunday night (Tracy had a steak craving). Lucy seems to be taking the family additional pretty well. She gives him kisses and hugs when she can. She got to stay with Grandma while Tracy and I were at the hospital with Jackson. 2 kids now. Crazy. Still got another week off to help out, timed pretty well with Black Friday this week. Definitely feels easier, maybe because we know a little more of what to expect, with a new born. Definitely not tracking as much. No counting wet/poopy diapers. No tracking sleep schedules. He already started putting on weight by his 4 day appointment, so only feedings on demand. It's really been all Tracy, I just get poop duty, and take care of Lucy. Besides the main addition to the family, I also got a new iPad mini (2nd Generation), handed down my iPad (3rd Generation) to Lucy, and 2 weeks ago traded in the old iPad (1st Generation), which was Lucy's, at Target for a $200 gift card. Tracy's switched over to the Kindle Paperwhite (2013 Edition), so she can read in the dim light while Jackson is awake in the middle of the night. They've been co-sleeping and I've been on the couch. That's pretty much all that's new so far.
7:34 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013
Paternity leave/vacation is almost over. 1 day left. And then probably a mad rush at work because we're moving to Willis Tower in a week. Crazy. Absolutely crazy. Took my mom to the airport this morning. Thanks for helping these last 2 weeks. Thanksgiving was good, she came over, along with my in-laws, and that's it. The grandparents did all the cooking and the cleaning, so that was nice. So a pretty nice and quiet first thanksgiving for Jackson. He had his 2 week checkup today, all good. 8 lbs, 20 1/4" long, 14 1/8" head. Pretty in line with what Lucy was like. But he's starting to fill out the newborn clothes better. Almost don't need the newborn insert for the carseat too. He is beginning to show signs of favoring turning right while sleeping, so we need to start forcing left, just like Lucy too. Don't want him to have to wear a helmet. Finally updated storytlr to 1.2, and went ahead and did Memex up to MediaWiki 1.21.3. Surprisingly easy. On both accounts. No skin on Memex though. It looked bad. Will start looking into some responsive frameworks, because, why not? I should have plenty of free time on my hands, right? Work, 2 kids, and a wife? I've been sleeping on the couch since Jackson's taken my spot on the bed, and it's hard not to want to watch anything, since the TV's right there. I did watch Elysium the other day, which was pretty good. Started reading Inferno, the Dan Brown book. Read through some comics. Loving the iPad mini (2nd Generation).
