Really good trip to see Luke and Al and Nicole and the parents outside Austin last week. Nice and relaxing. Great to hang out with family, and to finally see Luke, my new godson. Apparently he just started getting less fussy when we showed up. So either great timing, or Tracy and I and Lucy are just that good of an influence. Weather wasn't all that great for the first couple of days, but warmed up towards the end. Watched a bunch of movies after Lucy went to bed. Went to a couple playgrounds, ate a lot, took a train ride on the Zilker Zephyr, took Lucy to an inflatable playground at the mall, took a golf cart ride. Pretty much perfect. Not sure when I could have ridden if I did bring a bike. Lucy had her own seat on the flights, since she's old enough, and was great travelling. She even got a little toy airplane on the trip back. Got to use the Withings Baby Monitor when Lucy was sleeping in Luke's crib. I think it's really awesome, at least when Lucy lets us leave it open. Busy first couple days back at work. We keep hiring people, and we're running out of space. Also, my desk was filled with packages I received. That was crazy. Also, riding again to work. Hard after taking a week off. And cold. I think I figured out how to put the facemask on and not fog up my glasses.
