36th birthday came and went. Nothing special. Just another day. Just how I like them. Potty training going pretty well with Lucy. Accidents seem to be lessening. Finally finished up Masalai yesterday. Will have to review it for Ryan. Decided to start Divergent, mostly because Tracy went to an extras casting call at her boxing gym last night. And it's set in Chicago. And the movie is being filmed in Chicago. Did a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt marathon, sort of, just 2 movies spread out over a week or so. Premium Rush which makes me want a fixie. And Looper, which was really good, and makes me want to watch Brick. And I didn't realize the writer/director, Rian Johnson, also did The Brothers Bloom, which I should watch next. Good stuff from that guy. Busy at work as usual. With all the laptop shuffling that's been going on, I find myself on a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Late 2011. No Hi-Res screen, but it's not too shabby. Feels enormous though. And only running Lion. I'm trying out the Office 2011 as well, and figured out how to use Tunnelblick for VPN access to work. Started using Jump Desktop for Mac for RDP. I also have the Navicat Essentials for SQL Server installed, but haven't really started using it. Curious to see if it'd be ok for use. But no Parallels, no Windows 7. Curious to see how it does. Been sorta sick, caught whatever it was that Tracy had, with the sinus headaches. But that's on the way out, I think. Took a couple days off from riding, and one week didn't ride at all. After the week off I did have my fastest ride in a while. That was cool. Switched back to using the carbon fiber insoles, figure I can try putting athletic tape to add some grip to them. Also ordered up some neoprene toe warmers. Curious to see if they'll keep my toes warm. While taking the El, been using my leg warmers. Want to switch over to some Smartwool ones, to match my arm warmers.
