Another milestone. 10 years at Market Track. Crazy. Rare these days. Happy I made it. Curious how long I'll make it. Went out to Woodstock so Lucy could spend some more time with her grandparents before they leave to take care of her cousin Luke. Fairly relaxing. Always a shock at how slow the internet is out there. And I guess how spoiled I am, with my 20 down, and 5 up. And I wonder how big the shock might be for someone with Google Fiber, to go to something like Comcast. Crazy. Lucy switched rooms today, now in preschool, same actual school. She seemed ok with the transition this morning. Curious to find out how she did today though. New teachers, new classmates, new room, new toys and games and books. Actually finished up a book, The Windup Girl. Starting the Wool Series based on Lisa's recommendation. Been trying out a bunch of different RSS feed aggregators. I screwed up my own Fever install, so that's not working. Something about my hacked Apple TV's isn't right, and I kind of don't want to bother with them anymore. Wondering if I should move it to the spare Mac mini instead. But trying Newblur and FeedWrangler. But I have a feeling whenever Reeder gets updated on Mac/iPad, I'll switch to Feedbin unless Reeder will support other services as well. Would be nice to see an aggregator of aggregators, and include Twitter and App.net links, and Pinboard unread items too. Also, going to try and learn some PowerShell.

Switched the Apple TV (1st Generation)s from jailbroken+XAMPP to just straight up Debian installs. Much much better. Maybe a little slower, and I'll have to look into it, but things just work better now. Not to mention auto updating security patches. Been a long time since I've used Debian. Interesting. Even had to start up mutt. Ha. Currently the websites are running on the backup machine, and I'll move things over to the production machine and try and update things, like Mediawiki and Storytlr. So Lucy's website is working again, except of course for Twitter. But maybe we'll start posting Flickr photos again. Got my Fever install back up and running, and back to using Sunstroke instead of Feed Wrangler. But still just going to wait until Reeder gets updated across the board. Oh, watched WWDC 2013 yesterday via live stream. Impressive quality. Looking forward to upgrading this fall both OSes. The new Mac Pro is quite pretty. Guessing I won't get a new iPhone until they get released with iOS 7. Wait and see.

Getting restless with my iOS devices, so I think it's time to nuke and pave. Start fresh yet again. Also means no Jailbreak again, which means no f.lux. Oh well. Getting really tempted to write an iOS program, specifically a Fever client. I remember looking into it before, just the logistics, or setting up an LLC and all the costs and paperwork involved. And the iOS 7 developer reset state sounds like an opportunity. But I'd need to find the time. Lucy's good. Tracy's good. Biking's good. House needs work. Found out the 1st floor unit sold after 3 days on the market. So that might bode well. Plowed through the rest of Fringe that's available on Netflix anyway. Almost where I want to buy Season 5 instead of waiting until it shows up. Also got a Roku 3 for Amazon Prime Instant Video, specifically for Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go, since they're exclusive at Amazon now. Best thing about it? The headphone port on the remote. Plug in headphones, and can watch at night without disturbing anyone. Unplug, and everyone can hear.
