on demand, metered, desired. a change in media. Remove broadcast from the equation entirely. Take this from the production companies frame of reference. What if TV goes the way of radio? A method of introducing new material to the masses. And then they go out and buy it. Advertising on TV goes down the drain. Captive audiences are no more. What does this mean for the DVD market? Too many things to think about, could be bigger than ever. If they manage to do 2 things. Up the resolution to at least SD, and provide a nice way to view it on a TV. Have those 2 things, that would just rock.
