Jackson Nathaniel Abando was born on Saturday, November 16, at 6:21am. The set is now complete. He's got a Flickr account, and a web site, because he is my kid. Healthy, 10 fingers, 10 toes. Tracy's doing great. Labor was maybe 8 hours total, got to the hospital around 1:30am, epidural around 3:30am. The hospital stay at Prentice was fabulous. This time took advantage of the location and got out and got food from local eateries, including dinner from Ditka's on Sunday night (Tracy had a steak craving). Lucy seems to be taking the family additional pretty well. She gives him kisses and hugs when she can. She got to stay with Grandma while Tracy and I were at the hospital with Jackson. 2 kids now. Crazy. Still got another week off to help out, timed pretty well with Black Friday this week. Definitely feels easier, maybe because we know a little more of what to expect, with a new born. Definitely not tracking as much. No counting wet/poopy diapers. No tracking sleep schedules. He already started putting on weight by his 4 day appointment, so only feedings on demand. It's really been all Tracy, I just get poop duty, and take care of Lucy. Besides the main addition to the family, I also got a new iPad mini (2nd Generation), handed down my iPad (3rd Generation) to Lucy, and 2 weeks ago traded in the old iPad (1st Generation), which was Lucy's, at Target for a $200 gift card. Tracy's switched over to the Kindle Paperwhite (2013 Edition), so she can read in the dim light while Jackson is awake in the middle of the night. They've been co-sleeping and I've been on the couch. That's pretty much all that's new so far.
