the unexamined life, the examined life, happiness through unknowing, or knowing through unhappiness, think too much, feel too much, everything, just too much, too little, not enough, that glass half empty but full of something else entirely, the way an underground river eats away at the ground beneath your feet, when with no warning, it's gone, and you stand looking down at a hole in the ground, of seeing clouds, out as far as the eye can see, ocean, the sounds of water crashing to the shore, people all around, and disgusted, mental distaste, the body urges, and mind stops, and turns its head, for what is what is wanted? when all is said and done, want, desire, truth and fiction
