Buddy. The Buddy Holly Musical. It was good. Tragic, but good. I wonder if the musical creative process is really that, open to new ideas. So spontaneous, so quick, or is that just the talent that was Buddy Holly? So gifted, so young. Amazing the things he did, at so young an age, a true innovator, different thinker. He played at the Apollo, and won the crowd over. Must have been such a show. I was a little disappointed with the end, not as tragic as I'd hoped, with a concert. And no American Pie. But then again, this was a celebration of Buddy Holly, not a mourning.
