I saw on the back of the Travel section of the Trib today that this new cruise ship not only has a 9 hole golf course but a rock climbing wall, a in line skating track, but an ice rink deep in the the belly of the steel beast. An Ice rink. Sounds pretty sweet if you ask me. I thought going to Alaska on a cruise ship would be a pretty cool time to have an Ice Rink on the sun deck, keep it cold enough, and if it snowed? On a cruise, that'd be pretty cool. I think that would top the lightning storm for the coolest ever weather on a cruise ship. But I miss cruising. That feeling of nothing else on the water, that picture painting perfect type of day or night, with clouds in the sky and a slight moon over the water. Standing up near the bow, or up on the top deck, with the wind in your face, looking out upon the ocean. I miss that. It'd be different on a small ship, like a sailing boat, like a yacht, but on a cruise ship, it's cool. And then you could go inside and go ice skating. wonder what happens on really windy days?
