Changing the team name. What is that about? I know, traditions change, but the Vomit Monkeys was a part of my life for three years. 3 long years, I was proud to call myself a Vomit Monkey, a spewing simian. That was me. But hey, maybe it's time. With 7 seniors, I guess the NU team is allowed to do stuff like that. Actually, the last name change occurred when there were a lot of seniors. So maybe it's time to change the name. I think changing the name now would also mean good things, like it did 3 years ago. Faster, stronger, more experienced, better, wiser. I expect good things out of this team. Good things. I expect to see them at Regionals in the Spring. I expect them to win games at Regionals. Even if they don't get anyone else this year, I expect their core group of players to go far. Because with the 10 or so they have, if they gel, if they get in sync, yes, they will be a good team. Nice to see it happen. Even if they don't do it as monkeys.
