data astraction, it's almost what is necessary in the information heavy world we live in today, don't comprehend scribbles, formed coherently into letters, which together create words, which combine to make sentences and paragraphs and papers and stories and books and novels, under which there are techno-thrillers and horror stories and romance novels and autobiographies, but to describe every single book, in all its minute detail, about how different each book was from another, how a Tom Clancy is like a Robert Ludlum but not quite, how romantic authors all penned their great works, it's easier to understand trends in literature, the abstraction of data so understanding, comprehension is easier, and so it is with stereotypes
