documenting, filling in gaps, random words on screen in databases, the highlights, the crests, the tips of icebergs above oceans and peaks through clouds, and sometimes, sometimes, it's the valleys, the lowlands, the canyons and gorges that push through the background scatter, the lowlevel ever present noise, but it's always the drama, both good and bad, that gets remembered. and then there's the times before, when memory has started to fade, and we're left with other people memories captured on film, in faded photographs, and yearbooks, and hope that that is enough to fill in the blanks |
