greed. easy money. the prospect of something for nothing. not much in life is free. there are rules, there are causes and effects. Sources. logic, reason. things happen because something else happened. someone wins when someone else loses. this isn't nanotechnology and the source, this isn't creation of complex machines from simple elements and compounds that are raw materials. there is a logic to it all. Put stuff in, get stuff out. Magically grows bigger? No. It doesn't work like that, does it? How did it used to happen? a disconnect between the people who run companies and the companies themselves, tied to who owns the companies. stupid. a gamble. A risk. a game. all in the name of greed and easy money.
