fear of socialism. fear of homosexuality and it's legality. fear of personal responsibility. fear of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged coming true. fear of losing God's favored nation status. Seriously?!?! Really?!?! i've started reading, and subscribing, to see what the other side is writing, what they're scared of, what they fear, what we fear. a welfare state. the dying of the church, in particular, Christian churches. A giant government with fingers, hands, and arms in every pie. Tax increases so high they cripple innovation and bankrupt the middle class. A general populace disenfranchised after all the magic fixes, instant money in the pocket, disappearance of debts, reestablishment of a bullish stock market. the taking of the money out of the pockets of the hard working American and into the outstreched hands of those who don't work. this is what people are scared of. This is based on his Illinois Senate career starting in 1996 up to 2001, when the quote on the tragically flawed constitution happened. Also based on National Journal called the Most Liberal Senator based on bills backed and voting history. fear. that's what I read. what I'm seeing. in articles, in comments. fear of personal responsibility. and that scares me.
