hope. what I hope for. what I dream for. a government that works together. that reaches across the aisle. that works out differences, that doesn't keep adding pork to solutions, that works towards the greater good, rather than the singular well being. compromise. understanding. bridges. and I hope we get there. I hope we do. And I hope both sides reach out, accept arms spread wide, and hug it out. i hope, but i fear, i fear that one side won't. i fear for the extremes. i fear for the outsiders, feeling pushed even more to the outside by the gathering of the middle. and i hope the fear is never realized.
