dream ticket, McCain and Obama, and a throwback, which would mean getting rid of the 12th amendment to the constitution, but just have the 1st place winner become president, the 2nd place become vice president. Both known for appealing across party lines. Pretty much middle ground. Awesome ticket. Who would dare to run against that? Anyway, just dreaming, but continuing the REM of political fantasies, moving my political views toward the SCI-FI party. I will now vote for politicians, ordinances and public votes, that move the nation/state/city towards those futures described by science fiction authors. This means putting science and research and development on the forefront. This means pushing for more power given to corporations, wanting things like globalization, giant conglomerates, zaibatsus. This also means stuff like digital ids, more intellectual property, and actually less government all around. I'm surprised someone actually hasn't already started a political party like this for the geeks.
