Napster. Own nothing. Have everything. So that's probably what got me started my examination of socialism. socialism. i always think of ayn rand, objectivism, atlas shrugging, and the world outside that little village collapsing, because of the all the pulling people down, the taking. but what about looking at it the other way, from the rich, the powerful, the producers, the movers. what if instead of taking and taking, they start giving and giving. at some point too much is too much, how much can one man have, one family have, what if the giving started at the top, instead of the bottom looking to take? i think of those with ability, providing wants, satisfying needs, so there is no want, there is no need. and then what? empowering the lower classes instead of disarming the higher classes. a different way of looking at the levelling of the playing field. and right wing god fearing conservatives, left wing socialists, all looking to level the playing field, either up or down, but it's always trying to make homogeneity paramount. the world is so much easier when it's the same. diversity is never cherished, because it's hard to understand. there's no boxes, no lines that can be drawn, no other. all is. is all.
