landscapes, backdrops, matte paintings, miniatures, all those little things, in the background, the stuff, the local color, what defines location, and space and time, it's not the foreground, but the same actors, actresses, the same scene, played out, directors, cast and crew, it's the same story, but the landscape changes. it's the background music, how simple a change, like at macworld, to simply change the music from some fast punk stuff to some slower alternarock stuff on the dvd menu screen for some college crew team, as simple as that changes the whole mood, the whole concept, the general feeling, but true enough, the hard and fast data, the actual message that gets across, that doesn't change, does it? the means, the methods, but the ends, you keep and always end up in the same place, so it doesn't even matter anyway.
