solidarity in numbers, strength, fortitude? not when the masses are disenfranchised, disillusioned, or lost. not when all those bound together have an aimlessness in common, when their raison d'etre, well, it hasn't been found yet, there is no strength to finding others in that plight, it provides no solace as finding groups of others in different plights, like the gangs in new york. it is a strange place to be, and stranger to share it, but yet, while it doesn't provide fortitude, there is some comfort, some peace of mind, some calming influence to know there are others out there, that there are others. and that there are those who find the way, their way, a way. that it can and will happen
