currency, the exchange of goods and services for an intermediary substance, thing, artifact, in which the parties of the exchange recognize as having value, value being the key word, money can be round, circular, sometimes with a hole in the middle, sometimes without a whole lot of continuity, but money, through exchange rates, figures into trade routes and deficits, and suddenly what was once money, is now no longer money, or what was money so long ago, is money once again, gold and silver, precious metals, gems, livestock in some cultures, circular, the snake curling around and eating its own tail, the phoenix rising from the ashes, duck tape and a swiss army knife, an old snow snovel on a tractor, the wheels of time turn, around and around, in a circle, and the starting point appears in full view. the sound of inevitability.
