i used to be upset by watching real life happen on my soap operas, they were supposed to be escapes, perfect or not so perfect realities, entertaining, or thought provoking, they weren't supposed to mimic my life, but now, i'm hoping they do, or will, that what i see on television, what i watch on the movie screen, what i read in books, are things, will be things that i will experience, enjoy, and have someday in my life
