musing on the matrix, what is it exactly? a self contained, multiuser operating system? no, because what would it operate. a game, simple, easy. how about the nebuchnazzar needing to get to broadcast depth to go into the matrix? if the matrix isn't connected to anything, as an intelligent being would think, how could they (the free humans) connect with and operate within the matrix space? is there some sort of broadband wireless connection to netspace everywhere, and is the matrix connected to it? another thing, the lawnmower man like ability to learn, does that only apply to matrix activity, or does the knowledge carry over to "real" life? could neo and morpheus have a sparring match back in Zion, or only if they plugged in to a construct? could the matrix be considered an aleph? when coppertops decide not to believe in their matrix reality, what happens? "crops wasted", what status must humans be in to be optimal power sources? and it's only a type of fusion. the one great AI, from which all other machines came from, still around? gives birth to other AI's? how many other ships like the neb are there? have humans gone to other planets, or are we still earthbound? why tank and dozer? name "real" humans after machines?
