Campfire etiquette. I used to be really gung-ho about campfires and bonfires. Great places to gather around, tell stories, talk, sing songs if one of your friends plays the guitar, or if you're lucky enough to have someone special, time to cuddle round the fire, in a romantic setting. I used to be all excited about campfires, looking forward to them in the fall, mostly fitting in the month of October. But now, I just don't know. Campfires don't hold that much for me anymore. I don't like full moons either. I'd rather have the moonless night, out in the country, when all the stars come out to play. Better nights than any full moon I've known. But the weather is getting chilly at night, September is almost over, and there's a firepit in the backyard. So what happened? Change. Always just change. I would like the move indoors though, to fireplaces. Those will forever be nice.
