why is sadness easier to feel or remember than happiness? what makes tragedy such a universal type of thing? is the world, on a whole, more sad than happy? is that what the balance of emotion is on this level of existence? mardi gras comes and goes, like feathers from baby pigeons learning to fly, the lack of sadness is more so missed, because it has been a longer friend to me than happiness? is joy that much a stranger, that it troubles to enjoy something new and different? questions, always questions,
