red vs. blue, democrat vs republican, donkey vs. elephant, left vs. right. what if we, as a nation, had to choose, had to pick the battle, and one goes left and one goes right, and the two topics are gay marriage and abortion rights. which one does each side pick? which one is the more important valuation? and those two topics in general seems to me to be pretty selfish, what the individual wants, what the personal freedom should be, which leads to the dichotomy of selfish ideals in a very social state, vs the very social ideals in a very selfish state, with Christian values and lowest taxes rule the day. it's like the true blues, the communists, the libertarians, are too extreme, to directed, and like lawful good and chaotic evil can't be found, and it's the middle ground, the mixing bowl, the bits of this and that, and an inconsistency that we can all agree on
