Atlas Shrugged? Bank closes up a company's line of credit. Company can no longer get materials to build products to sell to generate revenue. Company announces it's shutting down. Gives 3 day notice. Workers stage a sit in, demanding severance and benefits accrued. Given that info, I side with the company. No credit, no materials, no production, no revenue, no wages. However, additional info on wife or daughter of CEO of company forming a new company, buying a plant in Iowa and doubling production, if to take the place of the former company? Well, then it sounds a little shady, shuttering a company to shirk responsibilities, while starting up a similar company without previous encumbrances. Which bank is providing the credit line to the new company? Are the customers the same for both companies? Does the bank have a line on the real estate of the old company factory space? Messy. Really messy. Not clear cut at all. But good sensationalist news though.
