wanted, desired, fitting, satisfying, and just like that, just so easy, and all the little things, all the checkboxes, all the big things, checked, all the wants, all the desires, fulfilled, not quite imagined, but better, different, and it works, it checks out, it seems like home, it seems like we could be there, it could be the place, to come up the stairs, drop off the shoes, hang up the coat, reach around the corner and put the mail on the counter, plug the phone in, or drop it in the dock, amble over to the couch, flip on the tv, get up and over to the wine fridge, make myself a martini, hang out in the kitchen, swing the tv out so we can watch while cooking, putting stuff into the dish washer, putting the coffee on in the corner, and so much cabinet space, heading down the hall, up the 2 stairs into the master, to hop on the bed, or head up stairs to the deck, and recline, under the stars, yup, i'm ready.
