yes we can. seriously, that little 4:30 music video of part of obama's speech, well, it's moving, moves me, makes the eyes well up, and gives hope, wellspring of strength, that we can. granted, some of the things, manifest destinyish, well, might not be things we should do, but that we can, but this empowerment of the people, from which the nation is formed, well, it's beautiful. that speech. that little bit of his speech, that he ends on. amazing. more of the full speech, the idea that we are americans, that we are the people, it's like a spark. it's a hope. it's a dream that this is something special. it's exciting. seriously exciting. energizing. seems like there's a lot of support growing for him, especially it seems from the blogs i read, that sit in my google reader subscription lists. i do have to remember the my conspiracy theory of Obama as a manchurian candidate. also my thought of a Obama/McCain ticket, because there's nothing in the rules that say you can't do it. How many people would vote that? you lose any straight ticketers, but seriously, how uniting might that be? unifying? proud to be an american.
