Got some great news yesterday, a letter arrived in the mail from RCN saying
that by February 2005, next month, my building gets HDTV, I'm guessing at
least broadcast in QUAM. Which means, I'll finally get to see CBS HD,
possibly get ESPN HD, and won't have to deal with antennas anymore. Also
means I'll probably finally step up and get a digital set top box from RCN,
so I'll be able to watch HD real time, instead of recording and watching it
later. Very good things. Awesome things. Been waiting for a year or two
on this one. I'm also working on getting more drive space, but not quite
there yet. I've decided to switch to Firefox on Mac OS X, to make my browsing
experience the same cross platform. It also helps that I've started to use
del.icio.us for my bookmarks and found Foxylicious, a nifty
firefox extension that integrates del.icio.us into the bookmarks menu of
firefox. So tech stuff definitely coming together.
