From Mark Gurman's mastodon post (https://mastodon.social/@markgurman/115657311502006405), Alan Dye leaving Apple for Meta. My first thought: great! Good news! And so soon after Liquid Glass. And there's all sorts of other posts that better describe how good it might be for Apple, which isn't surprising because of all the Apple pundits that I follow. But what I haven't seen is anyone lauding Meta for hiring Dye. Because apparently Zuckerberg and Meta saw Liquid Glass and was like, yes, give us more of that, that's the good stuff, that team knows what they're doing. So, I guess, wait and see what happens with whatever the Dye creative studio is actually going to be responsible for, and how much influence he'll wield, and what, if anything changes in the Meta world. I guess Liquid Glass and the theory is applicable to AR. I mean controls overlaid the real world is pretty much what it is. So maybe that's where we'll see real Liquid Glass applied.
