2 days later, and I'm still reeling from Bastille Day at Hammerdown. Too much tequila, in too short of time. But a good time. The night started out simple enough, with an attempt to hold up my skills as a beer friz player, but that was broken up by the 5-0. But not before someone handed out invites to a Real World Party and Extra Casting event up the street. So a large group got together, walked the 6 or so blocks up to see a large, very numerous group of people blocking off North Ave, yelling and shouting at the Real World House. A good write up is at fengi.com. So that turned out to be a bust, so back to Hammerdown. At some point Kaz found out there's Tequila after I asked, and the shots come out to play. And after that, it's time to start dancing, since the music was pumping, and there's that nice little area in front of the stereo. Nice to get moving. Necessary to stay moving, to keep me from falling over. And then sometime later there was a "bet" made about landsharking, which I attempted, but the landshark did not fare well. Poor execution. But soon after I was ready for bed. So Bryan drove me home, and I fell asleep on my floor, in various places. Bastille Day.
